TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. INTRODUCTION
This document outlines the terms and conditions governing the operations of Rural Development and Resources Altruistic Movement (hereinafter referred to as "the NGO"). The NGO is committed to collecting financial contributions from individuals and organizations to support welfare and development initiatives. By making a donation, registering as a beneficiary, or engaging with the NGO in any manner, individuals acknowledge and agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
2. DONATIONS AND FUND UTILIZATION
2.1. Donations are voluntary, non-refundable, and irrevocable.
2.2. The NGO is registered under Section 12A, ensuring income tax exemption.
2.3. Donations qualify for 80G tax exemption, subject to government regulations.
2.4. Funds shall be used strictly for welfare programs, such as healthcare, education, and livelihood support.
2.5. Donors and beneficiaries cannot influence the NGO’s financial decisions.
3. DATA COLLECTION AND PRIVACY
3.1. The NGO collects personal information, including but not limited to Aadhaar number, bank account details, mobile number, and address, with the explicit consent of donors and beneficiaries.
3.2. All collected data shall be securely stored and utilized strictly for operational and verification purposes.
3.3. The NGO shall not sell or disclose personal data to any third party, except as mandated by applicable laws and regulations.
4. BENEFICIARY REGISTRATION
4.1. Individuals seeking welfare assistance must complete the prescribed registration process with the NGO.
4.2. Registration is undertaken voluntarily, and no individual shall be compelled, coerced, or provoked to join.
4.3. The NGO does not assure financial assistance to all registered beneficiaries, as such support is contingent upon fund availability and eligibility criteria determined by the NGO.
5. SUBSCRIPTION CONTRIBUTIONS & BENEFICIARY ENROLLMENT OPTIONS
5.1. The NGO provides a basic welfare plan free of charge, allowing beneficiaries to register without any mandatory payment.
5.2. Additionally, beneficiaries may choose from upgraded plans, which offer enhanced benefits and require voluntary contributions.
5.3. The NGO strictly does not mandate any form of payment as a condition for registration. All financial contributions are entirely voluntary.
5.4. A special exemption applies to individuals above 70 years of age, who may register under any plan without any contribution.
5.5. Field functionaries facilitating registrations must clearly inform beneficiaries that contributions are optional and not a prerequisite for accessing welfare benefits.
6. SUBSCRIPTION VALIDITY AND RENEWAL and ID CARD ISSUANCE
6.1. The subscription to any welfare scheme provided by the NGO shall remain valid for a period of one (1) year, corresponding to the financial year, as specified in the issued beneficiary ID card.
6.2. Beneficiaries are required to renew their subscription annually, in alignment with the financial year, to continue receiving benefits.
6.3. Changes to the selected welfare scheme shall only be permitted at the time of renewal and shall be limited to once per annum.
6.4. Upon registration, each beneficiary receives a unique Beneficiary ID Card.
6.5. ID cards consist of two parts:
- One part retained by the NGO for record-keeping.
- One part issued to the beneficiary for proof of enrollment.
6.6. ID issuance is not linked to financial contribution and is part of registration.
6.7. Beneficiaries can apply for welfare schemes through the NGO website, regardless of contribution.
7. AMENDMENTS TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
7.1. The NGO reserves the right to revise, amend, or update these terms and conditions at its sole discretion.
7.2. Any modifications to these terms shall be communicated through official channels, and continued participation shall be deemed as acceptance of such revisions.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
8.1. The NGO shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from participation in its schemes or programs.
8.2. The NGO operates on a best-effort basis and does not guarantee any specific outcome from its welfare initiatives.
9. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
9.1. These terms and conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the provisions of the Indian Trust Act, 1882.
9.2. Any disputes or legal matters arising in connection with these terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hon'ble Madras High Court, Chennai.
By making a donation to or registering with Rural Development and Resources Altruistic Movement, individuals confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions.
